     I have been a Tesoro user for 20 years. My first detectors being the Myan and the Silver Sabre. I have hunted all over the western states, including Rich Hill, Arizona where I detected my "first" gold nugget with the Tesoro Myan. One of my best freinds has another brand detector that is top of the line in $$$ and because of the complicated, confusing knobs, I recommended the Amigo II (now the Compadre) which he now uses exclusively.

     I have introduced many people to the world of detecting and highly recommend the Tesoro Compadre for novice and Junior treasure hunters, or a back-up detector. You can't beat it for quality detecting at an affordable price!

Bill passed away from cancer this year. It was a sad day for his family and friends. We will miss Bill as a friend and fellow prospector and detectorist.
